Piparchi Kitchen, Where You Can Receive The Blessings of Island

The interior the couple made uses wood as a base and has a warm feeling. At the inside of the counter above the painted white plank, the owner Yasunobu Ikeshiro is skillfully making food. Next to him his wife, Mariya, is energetically moving around.

On the menu there are dishes that almost anyone is used to like grilled fish, Hamburg steak and curry but the Hamburg steak is surprisingly plump, and within the spiciness of the curry there are complex flavors. Piparchi Kitchen completes the dish.

Piparchi is the island pepper that is native to the Yaeyama archipelago. With island ingredients in the name, you can see the a lot of blessings of Okinawa within the menu as well, such as sea grapes, bitter melon, mozuku (a type of seaweed) and loofah.

The inside of the shop is always lively with local customers, no matter their age or gender .

It is fashionable but it did not overreach, it has both good food and is comfortable. Both of them exude kindness so it is easy for anybody to enter and you will want to come again.

Come to Naha and stop by this small eatery.
