You Can Find Restaurants or Bars that You Want to go Through “Bar Walk Naha”

One day on April, I attended an event called “Bar Walk Naha.”



“Bar Walk Naha” is a bar-hopping event. After purchasing 5 tickets, look at a map of bars / restaurants, pick somewhere to go, and exchange 1 ticket to 1 drink & 1 appetizer at a bar /restaurant of your choice. Doesn't it sound like a fun event to go to many places in 1 night? The event started from 15:00 on that day, but my friend and I attended it from around 20:00. Since we did not get hurry, we spent most of the time at Hyatt Regency Naha, Okinawa. This is the route that I followed on that night. 

Purchased tickets at Tenbusu Naha on Kokusai St.

Chinese restaurant “Rankeibou”: We gave up on going there after we saw a long line there.

Lounge at Hyatt Regency Naha, Okinawa: Since the appetizer was delicious, I used 2 tickets here.

Cuban cigar bar “Finca La Vigia Okinawa”: I found a really good bar!

Oyster bar “Unosuke”: the combination of oyster & white wine is perfect!

An appetizer at Hyatt was a high-quality. Also, I had oyster and white wine. This must be the perfect combination.



I have to write especially about “Finca La Vigia Okinawa” this time. I believe the best thing about attending such event is to find places that I have never known. 



Honestly, I was surprised at first when I found a bar in a quiet area near fancy Kokusai Street! The narrow stairs showed the oldness of the building. Some antique furniture inside the bar reminded me of old town in Havana, Cuba where I traveled long time ago.



Doesn’t it make you tired when you go to fancy or sparkling bars sometimes? Compare to that, “Finca La Vigia Okinawa” has a relaxed atmosphere, and you can sit down on a sofa deeply and drink alcohol. Such atmosphere cannot be created in a short time. I am very happy to find such bar, and I want to go to this bar many times. 



A moist tropical wind came inside the bar through wide-open windows. I felt like being in Cuba, and I grabbed Cohiba in a spontaneous way. 



“Cuban Sandwich” and “Mojito” that they served for Bar Walk were very good, and I have no complain about them. This Mojito is faithful to the original recipe of “BAR BODEGUITA” where a favorite bar of a famous novelist Hemingway was. Okinawan-produced fresh black pepper mint is used for Mojito, and doesn’t it sound cool?



They serve 14 kinds of Rums, and recommendation of cigars is listed also on the menu. This bar is too worth going for a drink.



My friend and I returned to Hyatt after that and went to a top-floor bar of the hotel. We ran into some Bar Walkers, and they offered us drinks. It is always good to take a beautiful friend with me lol 



I fully enjoyed the night of Naha. Thank you, Bar Walk!
