Seats on the Beach. Shokudo Karika Where You Want to Take It Easy

Mibaru Beach is a natural beach on the south side of Okinawa Island. Its length is about 1 km, the blue water is very transparent, and when it becomes summer, it is lively and people don’t just go swimming; they do water sports and take glass bottom boats.

Two years ago on Mibaru Beach, Shokudo Karika opened.
The Nepalese chef Jesse makes authentic Nepalese cuisine with curry as the main dish. There are things like curry, lassi and Nepalese beer.

When you order from the small window attached to the shop, you wait for the food at seats set up on the beach.

This shop is on the beach, but it is not a “beachside hut” so it operates year-round. And it is open until 10 at night.

When you get to your seat, take off your shoes, be barefoot and look at the sea while taking it easy and having a meal.

This shop has various times where it can be charming: the time after summer when it gets a little cool, Indian summers, the quiet period where dusk becomes night, and night itself.
