Okinawa Limited Sweet Potarico♪
On Kokusai-doori, a lively tourism area in Okinawa, there is Calbee+Okinawa, a shop with a cute, colorful hibiscus signboard.
At Calbee+ in Okinawa you can get the Okinawa limited “Sweet Potarico”.
Sweet Potarico uses purple yam and sweet potatoes, and can be gotten freshly fried in the shop!
The vibrantly crimson Sweet Potarico has the flavor of purple yams, and the inside is soft and fluffy while the outside is crunchy. If you try them once, you’ll get addicted. It is an item you should eat while enjoying sightseeing in Okinawa.
There is one more item that is Okinawa limited, it is “Potafuwatto”.
This one is also freshly made. The ingredients and flavor make a perfect potato snack. It is light, crunchy and filling which feels luxurious.
The patterns for this convienent Jagarico lid are also Okinawa limited.
You might feel uneasy about the puns (lol), but how about getting this humorous souvenir?
If you spend more that 2000 yen, you will receive this reusable shopping bag with the hibiscus with the Calbee+ logo.
I got the beautiful Okinawan clerk to pose with the bag.
With the bunch hibiscus the walls, it gives a cheerful poppy feeling while still being able to feel a great deal of Okinawa-ness.
If you come by Kokusai-doori, go to Calbee+Okinawa and search for some cute souvenirs that you can only find in Okinawa!
