Okinawa Sun Bathed Fruit Jam
“Ka N26°” raw jam was born from the desire to show people what is great about fruit from subtropical Okinawa.
The “Ka” is from the Japanese “Kajitsu”, meaning fruit, and “N26°” is the latitude of Okinawa.
“Bijou Couture” is a phrase made from “jewel” and “fruit” and comes in 5 types: mango, pineapple, dragon fruit, papaya & passion fruit, and kiwi & shikwasa.
Using fruit grown in the Okinawan sunshine and sea breeze, they are each abundant in nutrients and vitamins which are good for your health and beauty!
What makes Ka N26° special is its ripeness and its Okinawan ingredients.
The representative fruit master Kazuyo Sato, through pro eyes, can identify perfectly ripe fruit from the vitamin packed fruit grown in Okinawa and make it so the taste of the original ingredients is brought out in full.
If the ingredients are good, there’s no need for any extra stuff.
Without any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, big and chunky cuts of fruit that’s been ripened until the last minute are used.
They use a very simple recipe which just adds a little quality sweetening and lemon.
It can’t be stored for a long time because of that, when you open the lid along with seasonal fruit, the scenery of Okinawa will seem to spread before you.
Made with consideration of what’s good for the body, delicious, and safe and reliable as the highest priorities, each one is handmade so the mild flavor of the natural fruit can be tasted..
The thickness of the fruit is in each one, and it’s looser than regular jam, so it can be used as a sauce to enjoy on crepes, or whatever your imagination comes up with for cooking.
It also goes excellently with wine and cheese, so putting it in a galette or tortilla wrap with raw ham, salad, and cheese is also a way to eat it.
Ka N26° original jar design is cute as well, and they say the dots designs come from the image of the fruit, sea and sky of Okinawa.♪
It’s a stylish item to bring out at parties and the like, and after you’ve finished eating it, the jar can be used for a long time as things like a spice container or flower vase, making it a slightly better deal.
Each one is handmade and it can’t be stored for long, so it is only available though direct sales at the store or the online shop.
Please try this precious raw jam that’s full of Okinawa’s natural appeal and the feelings of the creators!
