Memory fades away as time goes by, and you might think “hey, where did I take these photos?” when you look at photos, and it might take time to remember where it was. Here is the list of spots where you can remember easily when you take photos.
Speaking of Okinawa, It’s Shurijo Castle
Shurijo Castle is a standard spot of sightseeing in Okinawa. It is the icon of Ryukyu Kingdom, and it was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2000. It was burned down 4 times in the past, and the current castle was rebuilt in 1992. Colorful “Shureimon Gate” with red-tile is depicted on the 2,000 yen note, and it is a spot to represent Okinawa, so you cannot miss taking photos in front of this gate.
Also, you cannot forget to take photos in front of Gorgeous “Seiden (main building).” Please note that “Seiden” is not facing the front. During the Ryukyu Kingdom era, the Kingdom built the castle to face west where China is geographically located. It is facing that direction to pay respect to China. So when you take photos, make sure to take photos from diagonally forward right of Seiden instead of the front.

Blue ocean, blue sky, and elephant’s trunk look-a-like cliff can be seen on tour guidebooks or brochures. This is a windy spot, so make sure your hat is not blown off when you take photos. And, there is no fence here, so you need to be careful not to fall off when you take photos.
Since it is a famous sightseeing spot, souvenir shops are located by the parking lot, and colorful muumuu, Kariyushi wear, and T-shirts are available at these shops. It would be good to buy something here and take photos.
