Warumi, A Sacred Land Where the Gods Descended

There is a place of mythical energy called Warumi in the Bise district in southern Okinawa. After pushing yourself through a deserted thicket, you hear the sound of waves off in the distance. If you follow the sound of the waves and go through another dense thicket, giant rock formations appear in front of you, and between the rocks the ocean spreads before you.
The moment you take a step inside, you get lost in a strange atmosphere and then in another moment you feel the atmosphere change. You can feel that this is sacred land.
In the middle of the huge rocks, there is a one rock sticking out. It feels like a strange sensation. It is enough that you feel the preciousness of this space created by nature is cutting through the moment of “now”. It is a place that will make you thankful for “now” and will make you want to make best of “now”.
If you look up there is a never ending sky. You will forget the passage of time. It is a natural place that will calm you down without thinking about it.
Once you go through the rocks a beautiful sea spreads before you. If it is not low tide, it doesn’t seem you can enter from the coast. Local people also don’t know much about it.
There is a famous tourism spot nearby where beautiful garcinia trees that over 300 years old are lined up called “The Garcinia Trees of Bise”. If you ask the locals, while talking about something fun you be able to find and see something good.
While enjoying the relaxing beautiful scenery of Okinawa, encounter Warumi, a sacred land where the gods descended.
